This page explains how Fix It Mobile handles mobile visits, diagnostics, repair approval, warranty coverage, and service scheduling so customers know what to expect before the appointment.

We keep the process straightforward: review the request, explain the repair options, confirm approval before major work, and stand behind qualifying replacement parts.

Our goal is to keep every repair request professional, customer-friendly, and easy to understand. These policies help set clear expectations before the visit begins.

Mobile Diagnostic / Visit Fee

A $20 mobile diagnostic or visit fee may apply if the customer declines the repair after arrival or if the device cannot be repaired.

If the repair is completed, the fee is applied toward the final repair cost.

This fee helps cover travel time, inspection, and scheduling.

Water Damage Diagnostic

Water damage diagnostics are $40.

Water damage diagnostics require additional labor, including device disassembly, inspection, board cleaning, and troubleshooting.

The diagnostic fee is non-refundable because of the labor and time involved.

Repair success cannot be guaranteed for liquid-damaged devices.

Repair Approval Policy

  • Customers receive a quote before major repairs are completed.
  • No major repair work is completed without customer approval.
  • Some parts may require special ordering depending on availability.

Warranty Policy

Repairs include a limited warranty covering manufacturer defects on replacement parts only.

Warranty does not cover:

  • physical damage
  • cracked glass
  • drops
  • bent frames
  • liquid damage
  • pressure damage
  • scratches
  • customer-caused damage
  • unrelated device issues

Screen Repair Warranty

Screen repairs include a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects only.

Warranty does not cover:

  • cracked screens
  • blacked-out OLED or LCD displays
  • green, white, or purple lines
  • dead pixels caused by impact
  • touch issues caused by drops or pressure
  • pressure spots
  • frame damage
  • liquid damage
  • deep scratches
  • impact damage after repair

OLED and LCD screens are sensitive electronic components and may fail from drops or pressure even if the outer glass is not cracked.

Any signs of impact or physical damage void the screen warranty.

Battery Warranty

Battery warranty covers manufacturer defects only.

Warranty does not cover:

  • liquid damage
  • charging port problems
  • motherboard or power IC issues
  • swelling caused by damage
  • customer damage
  • bad charging accessories

Mobile Service Notice

Fix It Mobile Repair provides mobile service to homes, offices, and public locations.

Customers must provide a safe and accessible repair location.

Arrival times may vary depending on traffic, weather, parts availability, and previous appointments.
